Privacy policy

This policy explains what NAICS Alert ("we") collects when you subscribe, why, and the choices you have. We keep it short and plain.
What we collect
- Account details: your business name, contact name and email address.
- Your matching profile: NAICS codes, service area (states), and set-aside certifications (for example 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB or WOSB) that you choose to tell us.
- Billing: payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number; we keep only what Stripe tells us about your subscription (such as its status and the last four digits of the card).
- Email delivery data: whether our emails were delivered, bounced, or reported as spam, so we can stop sending to addresses that don't want or can't receive them.
- Basic server logs: like most websites, our server records IP addresses and pages requested, kept for a short time for security and troubleshooting.
The site uses no advertising or tracking cookies.
Why we use it
- To match new SAM.gov opportunities to your profile and send your daily digest.
- To send account emails, such as confirming your email address.
- To bill your subscription.
- To answer your questions and keep the service secure.
To score opportunities, your matching profile (business name, NAICS codes, service area and certifications, but not your email address) is processed by our AI provider. It is not used to train their models.
Who processes data for us
- Postmark (ActiveCampaign) sends our email.
- Stripe processes payments.
- Anthropic provides the AI model that scores opportunities against your profile.
They process data only to provide their service to us.
What we never do
We never sell, rent or share your email address or profile with anyone for their own marketing.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and profile while you're subscribed. After you cancel, we delete them within 90 days, except billing records we must keep for tax and accounting, and a record of your email address on our do-not-email list so we honor your unsubscribe.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe with the one-click link in any email.
- See, correct or delete your information: email support@naicsalert.com and we'll respond within 30 days.
Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), keep access to subscriber data limited, and store secrets separately from our code. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable care.
Children
NAICS Alert is a business service and isn't intended for anyone under 18.
